Solar Street lights
Solar street lights are raised light sources which are powered by solar panels generally mounted on the lighting structure or integrated into the pole itself. The solar panels charge a rechargeable battery by generating the DC volt in the sunlight, which further powers luminary during the night. Solar lights turn on and turn off automatically by sensing outdoor light using solar panel voltage. This operation is called Dusk to Dawn. Solar street lights are designed to work throughout the night or more than one night if the sun is not in the sky for an extended period of time. Solar Light Back-up and area covering depend on the wattage, power, and capacity of the battery, solar panel, and LED.
Mainly there are three types of Solar Street/Security lights that are available in the market. (All-in-One, Two-in-one, and Stand-Alone).
